Pygmalion Music Festival Passes On Sale Now
Founded in 2005 and gaining serious credibility each year, the Pygmalion Music Festival brings the best of the national indie rock scene to the people of Champaign-Urbana. The 2008 festival will kick off on September 17 and on September 20, it arrives right here at Krannert Center with Yo La Tengo plus an all-out Afterglow performance featuring Grampall Jookabox, PWRFL Power, and High Places. Krannert Center Seeks Assistant Manager System Services
Under the general supervision of the Computer Information and Access Director for Krannert Center for the Performing Arts, the assistant manager system services is responsible for several Windows servers; the deployment, maintenance, and administration of Windows computers, both physical and virtual, throughout the Center, including integration into the campus Active Directory; and for any related Help Desk calls. > MORE
Krannert Center Seeks Two Event Coordinators
Under the supervision of the assistant director for events, the events coordinators are responsible for the planning and overseeing of performance and rental events in the five-venue performing arts facility that is the Krannert Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Annually, events include approximately 75 professional touring acts, 90 rentals, and 110 School of Music performances. Additionally, the Events department plays a key role in the Krannert Center initiative for supporting the creation of new works by established artists. > MORE
